Anyone Figuered out the best way to run a mobile amp in the house on batteries. Without Running a motor maual or using a power supply. the reason i ask i am trying to run a 6 pill in the house on dc. My house current cannot hold it. I rent so i cann't add any lines of 110 or 220volt direct to my radio room. already asked the landlord. People are saying something about Using 2 batteries with a capacitor and A voltage Ragulator. ANY IMPUT On whats the best way. Thanks |

I used two 12 volt batterys & a battery charger to run a bigger amp. than that. Just use the right size wire.It worked good. |

Thats what I got now but it will not get up and my battery charger will not hold it |

I run a deep cycle marine battery and a trickle charger to power my DX 1600 Texas Star. This setup does a good job for me. However, I mostly run SSB. If you plan to run a lot of AM, I'd invest in a larger charger.

Get 1000 amp. cold cranking amps. batterys And a charger with boost an it . |
