is the swr meters on the 2995 ranger accurate or should i get a meter to check and if so which meter is best for this. |

I personaly have never had the best luck with internal meters being accurate. They normally will give you a realitive idea of better or worse, but... A swr meter purchase is allways a wise purchase. BC |

That's a good question. I have 2 different meters. One is an Radioshack and the other one has no name on it. when i checked my swr's they both show different reading. so i don't know which one to go by. the only good thing is both show below 1.5. |

I always check with a known good meter. |

My SWR meter is off in my RCI 2995. Use another good SWR meter to check it. JIM/PA/CEF 375 |

A swr on a radio might be ok but then again two heads(SWR Meter's)are better then one too |
