Just remember folks, all the equipment in the world does you no good if you are unable to operate it correctly. The equipment alone is only half of the equasion.

Nothing slower than QSL's website, I think their outgoing is a dialup. Way to show off the technological end of ham radio :-) After the day I may have finished viewing it.

Carol is a nice lady. I have talked to her many times on air and off--even done small projects together. She was/is a Merchant Marine radio officer and has traveled the world. I once talked to her on 28.610 sitting in the S. China sea. Her website doesnt even do justice! LOL! Don't know if you saw it or not, but she mentioned various satellite dishes. She has satellite monitors sitting all around the top of her radio desk. The desk itself is beautiful, hand-made of solid wood and reaches from floor to ceiling. Her husband is a train buff and also has the basement full of model trains and railroad memoriabilia. (I worked on a RR for 23 years and retired early from the industry but am not into trains; it was a job, not a hobby ;) ) If you ever hear W4CLM on the air, ask her about her trip to North Korea! She was "edgy" to say the least. Those people have NO sense of humor.

I just thot you'd like to see an impressive radio station. I'm jealous myself! LOL! I'll prolly see her this weeked at the Charlotte, NC hamfest!

Carol is also a highly qualified tech. One of her specialties is restoring the Yaesu 101 line of gear.

She was at the Charlotte, NC hamfest Saturday. I think she posted a link on her website that details her experiences while docked in N. Korea. The only time they were allowed to disembark was when they took them on a tour of shrines dedicated to their "Great Leader" and the "Dear Leader. All she wanted to see was N. Korea at her stern.
