i went to rat shack to get the parts to do the diode mod on my galaxy 44 and the 1n4001-1n4004 is a Rectifier diode is this the right part or is it a zener diode type |

ok thanks
just for kicks i tried a 15v zener diode in another radio and it worked the same just waiting to see how long it will last |
