I have a Lafayette CB Model 25B and would like to know what the Mic pin setup for this radio is, it is a four pin plug receptical, and if you have this information, which way will it read, will it be counter clockwise from the small hump, Thanks Alan.

As I've never seen one and it may have been changed from stock over the years, so even if I knew how it was originally done it may not be that way now.

Here is a site that tells you how to wire nearly any microphone to any CB by testing the radio and the microphone:

Here is what I found for you:

Pin 1 - Audio
Pin 2 - Transmit
Pin 3 - Receive
Pin 4 - Shield

I know Trans and Shield are right, but Audio and Rec may need to be switched around. I don't think so, but I am not 100% sure. I hope this helps!

If that's the Lafayette Comstat 25B, it wires like this:
1. audio
2. transmit
3. receive
4. shield

?!? How was that link a direct competitor? The link was to an informational page that doesn't sell anything, and even if it was, you sell his products at lower prices.

Racer X, heck, it could have had a link to a competitor somewhere else on that site. When or if I try to answer stuff for people and find it somewhere else, I usually just cut and paste the info they are looking for and not try linking to it. I to, have been called on this before. Don't sweat it, they have their reason's. It's not like the Copper police are gonna come drag ya away.
