A70-05116 ASTATIC D104M6C POWER MIC $ 44.99 ASTATIC D104M6C POWER MIC Description The D104-M6 series microphones are quality performance field effect amplified “power” microphones for amateur, citizen band, mobile, aircraft, marine applications. The housing of the D104-M6C is molded black ABS, the front half is chrome plated and the grille screen is chrome plated. An output impedance compatible with the inputs of almost all commercial transceivers and externally adjustable high gain amplifier ensures desired modulation level. The D104-M6 has an easily accessible control for volume so that the correct modulation level can be set for each operators voice. The D104-M6 preamplifier is powered by a readily available, easily replaced, 9 volt battery. The D104-M6 has a six wire coil cord which allows for relay, electronic or virtually any type hookup with almost any transceiver. The audio line is open during receive. been using one daily for 3 1/2 years and not a single problem. changed the battery and thats it |

they work with omega force. Since it has a built in mic/volume. Just a rookie asking. If so, I'll order one but it will cost me more than 15.00 as I will have to pay some sort of duty, and Fed Ex cost. |

Truckdon, I haven't tried a D104M6C on my Omega Force, but I have tried an assortment of D-104's, Turners, and a couple of Sadeltas. Non of them beat/sound any better than the stock mike, plus the stock has channel changing feature. It's the first solid state radio I can remember trying/owning that a power mike would not help, even those that didn't need more modulation, the tone of a power mike would help, but not this Omega Force. I've just tried this one, and there can be differences in the same model radios. Anyway, that's the story on this one. Scrapiron |
