Why is it that some stations identify their countrys with division numbers?? I talk on my radio mostly with spanish stations and they say for example " cq cq dx this is -handle name- calling from chile 4th division and sanding by" in spanish language. I think USA is the 2nd division MEXICO is the 10th division and so on so forth. Do you guys have any information on this topic? where can i get info on the web? |

Dxuall, I would guess they do not have the time to make or keep an updated membership list for the members so they can look and see exactly where someone is located. So divisions may help them as long as they know what the divisions are. Just my thought's, Lon Tech808 CEF808 N9OSN PS; When you get time you need to sign up and join our WORLDWIDE CEF RADIO CLUB and then when you talk with another CEF Member they will know exactly who you are and where you are located and you will also have their information. |
