I am looking for one of these mics. But I have had no luck finding one. Anyone know of where I can get one? Did Copper's sell them, or was it just some oddball thing folks made from a normal D104?

Sodapop, 1~Hacksaw + 1~D-104 = 1 Stubby D-104 The STUBBY D-104 is just a CUT DOWN regular D-104. Sorry but they were not factory made like that from Astatic. Keep checking the internet auction sites and you will find them from time to time. Hope this helps, Lon Tech808 CEF808 N9OSN |

Thanks Lon, I thought that was the case. But I will keep an eye out for one. I may just get a D104 anyways. I am looking into either a Icom, Yaesu or Kenwood radio. I have one I want, but no emails back answering some questions.....I hate that! *G* |

The silver salute is pretty close to a d104 and is made "stubby" from the factory! Best part is Copper sells 'em BC |
