I placed my order thursday morn and was told to call back around 4 PM . Only problem was,I work 3rd shift and stayed up too late and missed the call-in time for the amount total(COD). Well,I stayed up the first half of friday and got the running around done and called to get the total. Cool,I think to myself,I'm ready now!!! Wrong....Mr.UPS shows up at my door, the dog doesn't bark?,the wife hears no-one?,Mr,UPS doesn't even know how to ring a friggin doorbell either and I'm in my shack catchin a 2-hour power nap!!! Saddly the wife and I found the lil yellow sticky note stating that they would try again on monday. boo-hooo.Now I gotta wait to play w/my new toy and I could have been playing w/it ALL weekend long. I'm heart-broken. Can we have a pitty party for me?LOL!!!! On the bright side tho;they say good things come to those who wait,. Just had to share my experience and let y'all know just how fast Copper can be at shipping their product to us valuable customers!!! Thanks for letting me vent here! Slim |

You are lucky, at least they took it back... Most of the time the UPS guy just leaves the package hidden somewhere. You have to call the UPS place and ask where they hid it. OR worse yet they put it where someone could see it and steal it. That Ol Elco Guy

Or leave it at a neighbor's house and you don't know it. One of our neighbor's won't even bother to call you if a package ends up there. You have go around and ask! mikefromms |

Well,if it weren't being delivered COD the UPS guy would have left it in a tub on my deck.He knows me well enough that it's OK to leave it in there w/no problems.BUT,COD kinda screwed that up and I didn't know it was coming that day. Saleslady at copper told me Monday. It's about 35 miles away in Piqua(sitting at distribution center) and every now and then I can hear it calling out to me!Snickering,snickering........ Thanks guys.Slim |

Well, sorry cowboy bob I read your post too late. I did RX the radio today(mon). My only complaint is the "open" clarifier and I have to set the clarifier at the "10 o'clock" position to tune in everyone on frequency. I'm surprised it's that far off from the factory, but I'll play some before I try and adjust it any. Give 'er time to settle in. Everybody says that the TX audio is "studio quality". I love to hear that Well, time to go play! Thanks for the prompt shipping and great service Copper Electronics! Later.Slim CDX285 |

That's what I found on my Omega. I did press Step button. I can turn freq knob and and adjust clarifier. Brings in the micky mouse talkers or the rear base talkers as well. BTW..I'm in Alberta,Canada. I've been calling CQ DX on 27.115 and 27.365 to 27.405 Lots of action yesterday. So far I have not gotted any contact from a CEF.. Don CEF 336 |

And by the time you go to the bank and get a money order and then mail it in, it might only add maybe another 4 to 8 days or more. A 100% quicker to have it shipped COD. Just my nickels worth as I personally HATE waiting for anything. Lon Tech808 CEF808 N9OSN |
