Hey all owned this antenna since new, from Copper of course! Loved it! But for the last few years it has been bundled up and sitting just waiting for its triumphant return. I have since lost the instructions and I want to match it correctly (even with the instructions was no extremely simple task before) Does anyone have the instructions? Preferably in PDF format? Thanks BC

One more thing Where is a good place to get aluminum replacement pieces for it? I had a tower give way and now have two bent radials. Luckly all I need to do is find replacemt parts, which is the nice part about an aluminum antenna, a fiberglass one probably would have shattered, as hard as this one hit the ground BC |

look in the yellow pages under tubing, steel tubing, metal tubing, etc. 20 minutes from me under 'metal tubing' place is still there after 28 years when i got tubing to build my homemade 3 element, and they have a good mixture of ID, OD, wall thickness, etc. my v5/8 has been bent several times, & rebent to shape, never any creases or breaks, though. almost kinda makes you think you were drinking when you look at it-a bit wavy, but it works! |
