I'm sure this has been gone over before, but I was wondering if any of our Techs accept radio's to tune and align as a side business or hobby. I have nobody in my area that does that sort of thing that I know or really trust. I' sure someone here must do it for their fee + all shipping and handling costs, right? I just picked up another Hr2510 from a friend and I think it could use a little love. |

I have helped with tube type radios, but I do not play with the solid state stuff. Unless it is broadcast gear that is. Sorry. |

Wheelco505, If you are talking about Tech671 I am not sure what happened to him, as he has not posted in over 2 years now. Maybe he moved or just lost interest. Lon Tech808 CEF808 N9OSN |

As for me , radios, computers, some software work and I have been know to design the odd bit of equipment or too. All this when my normal job, racing and family allow. Now what to do with my spare time |

If it has tubes in it, tunes the AM BCB and maybe a SW band or two, and made before WW2, then yes. Although I have built many, many high power amps for one thing or another, I refuse to do any work on ham gear. It is simply not worth the headache. |

Ashtray, Please remember that None of the Copper Techs and Moderators work for Copper Electronics and all of us have Full Time jobs and donate our time to help when and where we can. If Tech8541 is like me, I get roughly 500 to 600 e-mails a week and I get to them as my time allows. It may take him awhile to get to them but he will or try sending him another e-mail and "DO NOT USE" the PM Feature here on the forum. Type: Tech8541 @ copperelectronics.com in the header. Hope this helps, Lon Tech808 CEF808 N9OSN |
