I hate wheat lamps!!! It seems like I am replacing them every other day!!! What can I use to replace them? Leds maybe? |

I have several IC-230's that use them ..... THEY ARE A PAIN IN THE BUTT TO CHANGE ! |

I had the same problem. I just played around with different voltages until I found one that would last longer that an hour. |

You can use LEDs. You'll have to use a resistor to limit the current and drop the voltage of the power source. You could also use a resistor with the wheat lamp the next time you replace one which should make the lamp last longer. The resistor will limit the inrush current as well as taylor the brightness. |
