I'm looking for 27 mhz RF coils. You know...the little tubes with the copper coils on the outside that have the plactic cylinder in the middle for adjustment. I need a few for an old president base that is missing some. I can't find them anywhere on the net. Are those particular coils obsolete now? |

Ashtray, Go to your Search Bar on your internet server and type in: www.google.com then type in "CB Radio Parts" This will bring up about 79,400 hits for you to look thru. Hope this helps. Lon Tech808 CEF808 N9OSN |

They're probably choke coils for the 54MHz trap near the final. What is the part number on the board? What model radio is it? Depending on the model of radio I may be able to tell you what the part value is from a Sams manual. |

I have the Sams manual for the radio. It's a president Dwight base. I'm looking for L11 and L12, both 27mhz. L11 is the Ant Match and L12 is Final Amp. These parts are extremely common in old radios, but I don't have any "parts radios" laying around. Except for the Dwight, which I'm trying to turn into a working radio. |

Actually...the coils are still intact in the radio...I just need the cores that are in the middle for tuning. 2 of them. I'll throw someone a few bucks for them. |

Which President base? I might have what you're looking for in a Radio Shack TRC-449 parts radio which is one in the same as the President Washington, with the UPD-858 PLL. |
