Well, after all the questions and talk and plans to get one someday, I have made my order for an Imax 2000. In fact, I ordered two. I found out I can save on shipping by ordering two. A friend of mine wants one; so, we split the shipping. The antenna will be up about 75 ft. at the base so hopefully it will do okay without the gdp/kit. mikefromms |

Mine is at 20' now and going up higher this spring. If I can hear it well I can talk to it. I like mine, spooky in the first big wind but now funny Chad |

Gage, Mine has been thru 2 ice storms now, one of which took Lon's down It has done well. I put mine up 2 days before the first storm, right before Thanksgiving. I remember peering at it every time I walked by the window just to see if it was still there. As we speak now it is pointed due North with the wind Just hoping it does OK till I can get it on a better tower. Chad |

Freezing rain usually doesn't effect anything on a Imax 2000./ They sway alot, but, are really tough./ JIM/CENTRAL PA/CEF 375 |
