Has anyone ever used an Astatic Mobile Max echo & voice recorder unit? I saw one at the truckstop and it looks like a cool toy for your radio. I like the idea of adding echo, a roger beep and a 28 second voice recorder to your radio without having to open the radio at all. |

i have one and i love it.it sounds great on my texas ranger base but make sure you don't turn the effects gain and delay up too much and make sure to keep it in reverb not echo you want it to make you sound like your on a loud speaker not in a canyon.once you get it set right it sounds great so i say go for it. |

well mine is the older model with only a 6 sec. recorder the newer models have a 28 sec. recorder but i guess there the same inside and mine sounds great but the sound effects don't work on the recorder so anything you record will not have the echo or roger beep with it when transmited but the audio is good and clear. |

OK, So does it just record YOUR voice or can you record somebody else talking over the air? |
