Hello,I have a Question on co-phasing the IMax 2000,I have heard you can co-phase the A99 but can this also be done with the Imax 2000 and if so can it also be done double phasing? (adding 4 Imax 2000 to 1 radio in a cross pattern)?

Chappy,

Well, yes it could be done but for the price of 4 Imax's and 3 - Co-phase harness's it would be cheaper to put a beam up.

You would need 1 harness for 2 antenna's and another harness for the other 2 antenna's then you would need the 3rd harness to connect to the 2 harness's from the 4 imax's.

Not to mention the structure necessary to support both antennas AND something to turn them(rotor). I know my stacked moonraker IV's were 26' apart and even tho I did all the work myself(tig welding/cables/turnbuckles)it still cost over 200 bucks just for aluminum/cable etc...and that was back in 92!!

Save yourself the aggrevation and put up a nice SINGLE 4 element beam:-)

Thanks for all the info's... not that I was going to do this, was only thinking can/could it be done and just how better it would of been then a single or double Imax..... but yes I would thank cost and faster put up would be to go with a set of beams
