Dale, Sorry can't help you on this one. If you type the name in the SEARCH BOX you can read about them as others have posted before on them. There have been several posts made by members about them. Hope this helps. Lon Tech808

Hummmm ...... A 5/8 wave seems to me a 5/8 wave is a 5/8 wave. My take is it will be no better than any other 5/8 wave. |

I've had one along with a couple of other people I know. I agree they work really well and don't let the following discourage you from getting one. However, you might want to condsider a couple of things before you put it up to save you some work in the future. The screws on all of them had a bad habit of working loose and sections of the antenna would drop down inside other pieces. You might want to look at another way to secure the vertical sections, maybe like the old Penetrator and put two slits in the end and use a hose clamp. Also the screw holes for the radials will strip out real easy so be careful when tightening them. They will work loose also so it might be best to put something like Loctite on the screws. One last thing, they have a habit of bending a little at the base either from the wind or just laying out horizontal before you raise your support pole. Not real bad but I've heard of people putting in a wooden dowel rod maybe a foot and a half long to give it support at the base. |

Jp1116 who makes this thing so i can AVOID them. My 6 meter ringo suvived 100 mph winds as did my 18 foot tall fiberglass 2 meter coliner. Even my top-one ALMOST made it through 3 hurricaines that passed buy here. If this antenna BENDS under its own weight how long would if have lasted here? |

Hi Dale, I used to have one and it worked real well, however when I went to relocate it,it bent in half just by holding it horizontal. These antennas from Italy and are made from the thinest, cheapest aluminum there is. I would go with an Imax. |

I believe they were made by CTE International. I sent the instruction sheet to CB Tricks if you need to see a picture of it. It shows a closeup of how the radials attach and the mount isn't the problem, it is the soft aluminum that makes the screws strip out. |
