Can someone tell me the difference between these two types of meters or measurements.
Also on some meters they say calibrate and some FWD ?

On a resonant line, (coax) some of the energy
sent down the line will be reflected back to
the source, (CB radio) resulting in standing
waves./Every 1/2 along a resonant line, high
voltage and low current points appear. Halfway
between these points, the opposite is true.
The ratio of the high voltage points to the low
voltage points is called the VOLTAGE STANDING
WAVE RATIO (VSWR)////// The ratio of the high
current points to low current points is known as STANDING WAVE RATIO (SWR).
If you get a chance do some research on this
subject to better understand it. Computer,books,
ect. Maybe somebody will chime in here &
explain it better than i did....
