Does anyone know where to find replacement speaker for a OLD sony tower !! the woofer is 16.5" from side to side and my 15" subs fall through the hole any ideas where to find anything like this ?????

Dont know where to find one that size right off hand but there is a shop in Columbus Ohio that can recone large drivers a LOT cheaper than replacement cost.and they do real professional work.when I did a/v work for a university here they reconed some 18" Quam drivers for me,about $120 for 2 ,replacements were about 400 apiece

NO modle number on it that i have found but the box is big enough to fit a 18" into it with a little cutting !!! Dindin i would like to put new paper cones back in it cause i still run the other Subs for the low end of the bass !!!!the wife just told me its good there broke !!!!!
if its broke fix it rite guys !!!! LOL

Allagator,
If the cones are torn but still in place you could try the old trick of using model airplane tissue and dope to cover over the holes. Works well and probably lasts longer the the original material.

Dindin the 15's is for the high's LOL it just a set of subs i had in my old Escort GT !!!
I would love to find a company that still carries the 24 inch subs for theatre's use to use now that would would be nice for my stereo !!! boy would my neibors LOVE ME !!! ha ha ha ha even with them 1/2 mile away !!!
