Anyone know if the raider can be made to talk on SSB?? I have one here that belongs to a local that im thinking of buying from him cheap. It has no SSB delay but has an unused switch on the front that would make an ideal spot for the SSB delay switch.. |

The newer, brown case, Raiders with transistor keying have an automatic delay, at least the ones I've seen do. There were so many variations of the D&A amps it's hard to say for sure if this is the case for all of them. If you have one of the tube keying circuits, it should have the delay on a switch unless somebody removed it. I sent you a private message to get an address to send the paperwork to for the Maverick. Maybe it didn't go through so I tried again.

Hey man, ive had to redo my email account and have had problems getting relogged on so I dought i got it.. I got it all on the up and up now!! :-) Now that Raider has a relay in it and its the newer version. Theres no SSB dleay switch on the amp though. It just has an on off switch, stanby switch, and a spotter switch which is unhooked... Those are the only switches i know of.. |
