My Stepfather has a older relistic TRC-48. He just got it all cleaned up and there is a button that we are unsure of. It's labled remote. Does anybody know what this is for and what it does. Any info will be a big help. |

Rich_1833, I would guess from looking at it that Remote = PA Speaker? For a Good Picture of it and other Old Radio's go to the Link below. http://www.clc.lib.oh.us/~pdutcher/ Lon Tech808

I own one of these radios.......... if you have the stock mic. There is a volume control on it that controls the speaker volume. When you press remote, you control the volume from the hand mic. When depressed, you control the volume from the radio. These are very nice radios by the way, very solid. |
