They sell for $20 up to over $500 per transistor depending on the one you need. RF Parts sells them. COPPER sells one or two types.

Unless you really want the experience, I highly recommend the COPPER KL series. Check the quality right back to Italy where they are made.

The Kit's are a lot of fun and a good learning experience but the way Part's have jumped up in price it can get very expensive.

I have a couple of plans for mobil linears
but never went ahead and built one 140 watt 300 watt, a low distortion driver for ssb 20 watt 1.6 to 30 Mhz 60 watt 225 400 mhz
