I don't think I can answer your question, but can you be more specific , or ask a different way please?

I know we would like to help, and if you get no response here, it only means that the answer is not known. Nobody is ignored here.

Are we talking single strand (wire?) or multistrand wire? I'm assuming you mean wire but that assumption may be incorrect.

My initial thoughts (obvious thinking multistrand wire) is the tinned copper wire for easier soldering, or for marine applications (such as Anchor wire).

Or, there is copperweld wire that is commonly used for making wire antennas and is steel over copper.

I get the feeling I am completely misreading/answering your post so give us some feedback and we will try to help.

Could he possibly be referring to the copper surface area on a circuit board? And if so would that be the base laminate copper weight, or the finished copper weight after manufacturing the PCB?

LOL. I could be wrong but I think Copper may be using aluminum as a surface finish on their roof.

The Forum Master would know since it belongs to him.

Jeff.

Steve,

No need to try and Slip anything by.

Seem's kind of silly to make the post under this topic where most people will miss it.

We now have 2808 Forum Member's, maybe if even 5% / 142 of them posted about having it open, it might be worth it to have a moderator open it more often.

Most everyone has AIM, or Yahoo Messinger or Echo Link now.
