What NEW CB radios out there will hold up to a bad beeting >>>> its going in a logging truck !!!!! and its going to have hard life when its in the truck !!!!!

Gator,if your just looking for an AM beater,as much as I dont care for them I would still recommend a Uniden 510.they seem to take a beating better than most due to their small mass.and not a bad little hotrod for a simple little no frills radio. |

Good Low Price and a 2 YEAR WARRANTY!
I am not sure but I do not think any other small radio like the TR-121CP has the 2 Year Warranty with them for such a low price.

Allagator, go for a Uniden PC 68, or if you need it, a Uniden PC 68 with weather. These are good radios! I must caution you, make sure you get one made in Phillipines, as Uniden moved their operation to China last year. There are still some around from Phillipines, you will just have to look for them. They are a good radio, and should hold up to what punishment you are talking about. By the way, my LaCrosse Logger Boots are size 11 EE. What about yours????

HE HE Keith the radio is for a friend of mine he has got him a new logging truck and wants a new radio without a weather band and nothing fancy like Rogerbleeps or extra channels just a plain jain radio i think he is getting the Texas Ranger TR-121CP he likes the looks and its also nothing they would steal unlike his last PC 66 & his 68 they never stole the kraco 4001 i gave him to use !!!!!! HE HE HE
