Used radio's are only worth what someone is willing to pay for a used / repaired radio no matter how nice they look or work. I have seen $1000.00 radio's go for less than 1/3 of what they are worth and I have also seen $100.00 radio's go for $500.00 and more.

I'd say 250-300 is a fair price for that radio if it is clean and works well. I'm with Pp1616 on this one--You'd have to give me $1000 for my DX2517, and even then I'd probably not sell it. It has been upgraded and tuned by SS8541, and is SOOOO sweet! I never sell my stuff, you never know when you might need a backup, or to loan one to a freind to get them interested. |
