I thought I had tune up information on every old Cobra radio made ,but alas I have never heard of a 19 DX.

ahhh, the good Cobra 19 DX. The radio with the squeak when you key up! lol Unfortunately, I dont' know of any mods at the time being 2:44 am. But when I get the chance I'll see if I can find anything for you. :-)

Hi there :) Sorry it's taken a few days to get back to you, I really haven't had much time to look through anything. Here's some useful information about the Cobra 19 LTD II. I really couldn't find anything about the DX, both are probably very similar. Goodluck ;)

1.Cut D9 which is the audio limiter .
2.Tune L15, L16, L17 for max swing
