The FCC doesn't catch people breaking the law .People cause themselves to be fined and have their gear confiscated.There are hundreds of thousands of illegal radios and amplifiers in this country.It is totally impossible for an agency regardless of size to even consider trying to catch all of these people.Has the US Drug enforcement guys stopped the illegal sale of drugs?No they haven't and never will in a hundred life times.My point is if you use illegal radio gear in a responsible manner,you in your lifetime will not be bothered by law enforcement.
