Years ago when i was on 11 meter regular there was a addon to give you the ping when you keyed your mic, it was i think from the browning. Do they still have them anywhere to add-on. I dont like the roger beep's. I prefer the slight ping when i key up. I think it would sound great on a Yaesu 101-EE with a silver eagle mic Let me know if they are still around. Thanks everyone, glad to see that this forum is starting to get more active. |

Falcon:I saw those ping kits at a local CB shop last year ,but they have since closed and I haven't seen them anywhere else.Someone in Mexico must sell them as I hear quite a few Mexicans using them.73's,Greenhornet |

Falcon I don't think they(anybody) have a pinger sound that a browning makes, but they did make a "pinger plus door bell" sound module, that makes a sound when keying up, I know this because i have one, try emailing them and ask for "single/double ping & two note door bell" module. good luck |

actually, years ago there WAS an "Eagle Sound" pinger box. I don't remember who made it and it's probably no longer available, but I did see at least one in use. |

Falcon : Forgive me for getting your name and Balasco's name mixed up in the post I just did in the tech section about the Browning Ping. |
