I have seen several ways to modify this unit. But what really works? I dont want to make a mistake with a non working design. Do I need to change the crystal?
Do I need to re-tune? I plan on a lot of SSB talk. |

Check out the Link below and you will find two different mods for Extra Channels.

On MAIN PAGE go to the Modifications Pages, then go to the Cobra 148GTL Page.
You can use the controls on the radio as stated or add a Switch, or use the Crystal Mod.
