I have a Tup 9 D104 the cord has been replaced on it. It was done by a local tech shop in Texarkana, Texas. I have used this shops services pretty much for several years, I recently took this D 104 to have it worked on (new blood behind the counter) anyway he replaced the cord. He said it worked fine,so I had no reason to think otherwise. Connected the mic.up to my DX2527,it will Key up, but won't recieve. Can anyone help me with this, I know which is the recieve but don't know which is the recieve on the keying switch, I have checked for shorted connections. (no problem)So if anyone has any suggestion's please respond, Thank you!!!! |

nitemare 5AE586, For the Galaxy DX2527 to a T-UP9 Mic it should be: PIN #1 ~ SHIELD & BLUE PIN #2 ~ WHITE PIN #3 ~ RED PIN #4 ~ BLACK PIN #5 ~ N/C-OPEN PIN #6 ~ N/C-OPEN YELLOW ~ Not Connected Check to make sure all wires are soldered good to Mic Pin's. Also Check inside bottom/base to make sure there also. Hope this helps. Lon Tech808 |

Tech 808, This problem is inside the mic, on the press to talk underneath the little pc board maybe I'm not explaining myself; where the cord hooks on the back of the push to talk switch, thanks anyway for the wiring code I needed that to. |

nitemare 5AE586, Remove screws from board in bottom of Mic. Turn board over so that you are looking at bottom of board with piano switch facing "UP" BATTERY HOLDER should be on your LEFT of Switch and Circuit (PC) Board on the RIGHT of Switch. You have TWO (2) ROWS of Pins on Switch. LEFT SIDE of SWITCH Toward BATTERY HOLDER will have "5" PINS RIGHT SIDE OF SWITCH Toward PC BOARD will have "4" PINS FROM TOP FACING UP TOWARDS YOU going DOWN "LEFT SIDE OF SWITCH WIRING!" # (1) on Left should have BLACK WIRE from MIC CORD going to it. # (2) Pin down should have RED or PURPLE WIRE from MIC CORD. # (3) Pin down should have SHIELD wire from MIC CORD & "BLACK wire from PC BOARD". # (4) Pin should have PURPLE wire from PC BOARD. # (5) Pin should have WHITE wire from PC BOARD "RIGHT SIDE OF SWITCH WIRING!" # (1) Pin should have BLUE wire from MIC # (2) Pin should have YELLOW wore from PC BOARD # (3) Pin Should have BROWN wire from MIC # (4) Pin should have WHITE wire from MIC After checking these pins make sure that none of them are making contact with any other pins! Sometime's a little too much solder will hang on bottom of pin when soldered and short out other pins. It is Very Tight in between the pins when hooking two wires from different sides to the same pin. If you have to re-solder the wires "TIN' them first with solder and the Pins on the switch so that you will not need a lot of solder to make your connection's. I Hope this helps. Lon Tech808 |
