finally has galaxy made a good ssb radio. nice too see they have a six digit freq. counter on them i think that should help these radios out on ssb alot. anyone out here that usea one id definetly love to hear about it. just my 2c cents worth from a galaxy fan |

I know Karatebutcher has one on the way from Copper and will get it next week. You can bet money he will be testing it out and will be able to tell you his perspective. If he and I hook up, I'll post a message on how it sounds in my receive.

Alsworld, I usually hook up with kbutcher once or twice a week. If I hear him out there this week, I will let y'all know how it sounds on my receive.

Yes and if I hear you guys I will lie ,lie, lie, also DX340 in ARK has one from Copper, we talk each day. and his radio sounds great, he said he doesn't even need an amp to run it, his modulation is great,Dale when I get mine, I will tell you about it, I am on 27475 unit 536, e mail me if you want so we can talk more on the radio, |

I just jumped in blindly when I brought my radio.I've been on 27.385 and have talked to Karatebutcher on 27.475 this past week-end. There are very few contacts that I attempt that I don't make. I told KB yesterday that I'm afraid that another 93T will be coming my way. I hate to have to make the decision to leave it in the truck or bring it inside. I have been spoiled in less than a week by this radio. It has a double fused (15amp) 12 gauge power lead and will run off a 810cca battery for quite some time without the engine running. I do turn the mic gain down just a little on ssb. I can honestly say I believe that it was $$$ WELL spent. KB & I have talked between CA. & AR. on this radio both base & mobil.

Hey Damyankee, I've talked to Ft. Smith lots of times, and on over in Oklahoma. We're probably a little under 100 miles apart. Do you have a base. I stay on 26.885 almost all time. Give me a hollar some night. |

Damyankee recieved my radio today, took it to be installed at the local tech, seems to work really good, copper tech did a wonderful job, E mail me when you can, I am full of questions |
