Can anyone please help me find r104 on the board. Or atleast give me a general area of, i can't seem to find it. Thank You |

R104 is to the right of X2 and X3 (crystals) about 1/2 inch , next to L-17 (can). R104 is the voltage source for the AMC (Automatic Modulation Control). If you want to have the banging audio , remove TR-32 and leave R104 alone. Removing the limiter in this radio is ok , it will scream...

Theres a snifty power mod for the 142 that i tried on mine a few years ago and as 307 said they will scream and really come alive when you do a few little "things" to it!!! |
