Is there a formula to calculiate how high your antenna needs to be at your height above sealevel to be in the correct wave length.
EXAMPLE: 873 ft. above sea level
___ wave length
= Height needed at my house.

The hight is simply what ever is needed to clear most local obstructions. As for above sea level that will do little since hight above ground is what would realy count. Im at 55 foot and our water table is down 20 foot so your water table is rarely at sea level
