Tell me someting, what does the RPT button do? On the Lincoln\HR2510 it's a roger beep. And what is the purpose of having a RIT button in place of the P.A.? Why would you wnat to turn the clarifier on and off? Any input would be appriciated. Thanx.... 431 |

RPT stands for REPEATER OFFSET. Used when running half duplex into an Amateur Repeater System. RIT is used if you want to be ON frequency and you are talking to someone who is OFF frequency. If you are both ON frequency there is no need for RIT..Shut it off... 307 |
