I am going to be on all day Thanksgiving day!!
I hope to hear some of you CE forum members out there.
I couldnt make the recent DX a thon!!
I will be on my fav freq 27605 lsb. I will also be on 27385lsb.
Also ck this link out !! It sounds like fun!!

Bingo on that. If I can be nearby, I'll give a shout for sure. Just name the freq / LSB/USB/AM?/ and a time with time zone. I will try to be there. I know I'll have the radio on all day, just might not always be next to it.

Okay,
early on lots of Spanish skip running on AM and USB. I made contact with CE2180, Dave in Tempe AZ at 8:45 am his time, 9:45 central. He was having same bleedover problems from south of the border. Spanish skip appears to by dying out here some. One guy in Jersey was booming through. Maybe that is a good sign with a radiodude hook later. I'll continue throughout the day looking for contacts (and always monitoring the freq) as I'm helping my better half cook some vittles. Dave says he will be on as well and may have a hookup to be on the forum in the future. Work it Dave!

I'll check it out, but I'll be working closer to the band, 27.425, .435,(LSB) and 26.865,26.895 (AM) and the reg 40. I really don't like to stretch my equipment too often that far out of band.
I'll be out there in the mobile.

Been listening, it is 8;40 here now Northern Calif , I heard one person calling for the radiodude, then there is this person that keeps breaking in looking for the fruitdude, he is a pain, will go back and listen soon for more of you guys, happy holiday |

I have been hanging between 605 and 385 LSB. No other contacts. My conditions aren't real good. It's quiet for sure, but not much skip. I'm still listening most of the time on 605 but could be on 385 lsb.
I am running barefoot. But was earlier as well with contact with Dave. Darn Turkey is cooking to slow. I'm hungry! lol!

I got home around 3:00 cst and turned to 605, heard few of you in there...Dave from Tempe sounded strong from his moble. Couldn't get back to him.  I tried but couldn't make any contacts. Maybe skip will be better next time. Will see.....

I was gettin nothin but florida skip on 605,but no contacts,my numbers are 759 on ssb,I even poked 400 at it with no luck,I'm in upper part of lower mich.,I figgered I'd at least hear 123 but no luck....Bigbob. |

I heard Dave in Tempe on .605. I tried but I guess he didn't copy. I talked to a couple folks in Denver. On .425 I made several contacts, better resonance in the antenna I guess. All from the mobile.
I've been getting better reports on my Euro 3900 on sideband since I took the supertalk module and echo board out. The Euro is like the Superstar but the band selector has 6 positions instead of 3 making room for another switch, which is the +10K switch. Anyway, that plus a Shooting Star 225 and a base loaded antenna are my mobile.

Wow you all!! I had so much Spanish skip i couldnt hear anyone!!! I started at about 830est calling, I heard one station come back but he was under the Spanish stations. I tried through out the day with no luck!!.
I hope we can try again another time!! |

bigbob all i heard from tampa fla was some guy B******* about all the other stupid people next time ill run the tape anyway and list any "NUMBERS" i can hear It was kinda sad since he didn't seem to care how stupid he sounded
