hello I was reading about your problem, I had a similiar problem, are you sure you got the filter hooked up right? plus if i'm not mistaken in your ltd classic there is a i f gain in your radio, if you had the receive turned up and they turned the i f gain up all the way try turning your if gain back just a little say 1 o clock. i don't know the number but someone will on hear. I turned mine down a little and i receive just as good and not much ststic, you will not get the static at light's either, just try it and post back. i'm curious. mike |

MIke, I have no filter on my rig.. Not sure what you are talking about there. I do have a rf gain on my rig and i run with it at about 1 to 3 o clock. I can try turning back more and see what happens. Ill let you know if it helps... Thanks for the input Chris in AZ |

Chris i run my rf gains all the way up on both my 2950 and my galaxy saturn..thats your recieve(ears)..try turing it up and see what happends. |

I guess i should read all the post before i post...your tring to cut down the static so what i said is not gonna work, i guess im used to hearing the static in my rigs lol...anyways sorry for the confusion. |

no problem tinman, Im having problems at intersections with static. Pretty much Im going to have to live with it. Thats fine. The static on the radio is not bad its just when i get around those intersections the static gets really bad... Thanks for the input though.. Chris in AZ |
