Ok lets see. if you put your finger or hand near your radio's meter and it moves back and forth, go out to your laundry room and get a fabric softner sheet, prevents static, rub it across your window of the needle, it works, I tried it |

When i worked in engineering we had a photo in the QA lab that showed a moon like crater being blown in the ground by lighting ..... But it realy was a transistor blown up 300X and a static discharge hitting it. A simple discharge mat or grounding mats on a bench make a diffrence walk across a rig and touch a door ZAP! if you pull a sparc your looking at THOUSANDS of volts comming off your finger here at work we have bands we put on and they are grounded to the mats on the bench. Im not into going hog wild but common sence goes a long way Bruce |
