I am looking to buy a better soldering iron and dont have alot of money to spend.. I was just wondering if this iron was any good or not. http://www.mcmelectronics.com/Search/sku5.jhtml?SKU=80-4400 It is varible from 5-40 watts and for $20. I just dont know if the tip is grounded

a grounded tip is not that important i use a iron much like that never had a problem more of a problem is not having a mat on the bench static from a carpet will kill a radio |
