I'm here in the UK. Ya, it is a bit boring over here on the air compared to back home in the states. I try and get on there every now and then to stir up the natives, but they're just not as fun to wind up over here. I also miss the abnoxiousness <-- is that a word) of AM. FM aint much fun either. Oh well, I'm throwing a little 250 boot in the truck this week, maybe that will wake up the locals a bit. |

not been dxing for quite a while...but used to be very active and run a dx sideband club here..plan to get my home made 2 ele cubical quad out the shed and erect it next to my car up the local hill to relive memories and maybe even bump into some old contacts..anybody here got any golf lima dx group qsl cards as our members used to talk quite a bit with usa..i had qsos with quite a few usa stations from all parts even alaska i think my most memorable was talking to an american in operation desert storm while he was driving his jeep and when he returned to usa he sent me a special qsl..but i think my most memorable contact was talking to yokohama japan an at member because it took place while using my home made 2 ele cubical quad on its first day out. |
