There are events in each of our lives that are indelibly pasted in our memories. The day J.F.K. was shot, Armstrong walking on the surface of the moon, the day the Challenger exploded, and recently the events of 9-11-01. That day has set a new course for all Americans. Hopefully, we will always remember the courage shown by those heroes during that event. We should be vigilant in our support of the President and other leaders of our country, politics aside. Freedom has a cost, but it is worth the cost as we are able to live in the best country of all...the U.S.A.
Never forget!!!! 9-11-01 while a tragic day for our country,it has become a symbol for us all to rally around. God Bless the U.S.A.

You didn't do anything wrong the fact that someone brings up the issue that our men from wars are stil missing is a good thing. You look good lots of ribbins hanging all I got in my years was a fireguard award ( a joke from thoes years ) but like 7 MILLION who served during Vietnam i did my part ...68-70. I know there are only a few hunderd living from the FIRST world war average is almost 100 years old and we have POW/MIA'S from that war too. We are losing 1000 vets a DAY from WW2 the average age is 80 still the MIA'S may still be alive. The last 2 wars there are thousands unacounted for the average age for Vietnam now is 54 so many of them could still be alive and being held in some jungle somewhere. I am proud of all the men and women who keep us free keep up the good work !

Karatebutcher and Bruce,

thank you. I saw where Tech 808 had asks us not to forget those still missing and wanted to post the date and my 2nd image.

I have been fortunate to be temporarily assigned to JTF-FA (Joint Task Force-Full Accounting) for two trips to Vietnam in the late 90's. Wow, what an eye opening experience for someone my age. My trips left a lifetime lasting impression on me. Too much to list here.

I wish more people would be vocal about this issue. Thanks Tech 808 and all who remember, and remind others of those still missing.

Alsworld, Back then in the sixtys there were lots of press about the missing POW'S and there were many campains for getting them back, I two was one of the many that wore a POW bracelet on my wrist with the name on one of the missing, it was a time when you read the paper a night with the death count, of how many of them were killed and again how many of us, the bombing reports daily.

My heart goes out to those then POW'S and now possible still lost and confined in the jungles of Vietnam, or Cambodia, may they find a piece ,or better, yet us find them,

the Army is having "urban training" exercises this week in Dayton. only announcing which area of town is being blocked off that morning. letting the local residents know the night before. been seeing chinooks? in pairs all weekend along with the occasional squad of f-16?/14s? tearing up the sky :)
