i can only get very little swing out of my amp even when i put 1 to 4 watts in ,what can i do to get more swing?

what kind of amp? what radio are you using?

Boy, that's like saying "I want my car to go faster" without saying how fast it will go now, or even how many cylinders the motor has. It's really all about numbers, ESPECIALLY the model numbers on the radio AND the amplifier, AND the wattmeter, AND what the wattmeter reads on swing NOW. Really.
