how many amps will it palomar be pulling,and will 8ga wire be all right with this thing,it is swing to 360.thanks

For the Texas Star 400 Amp Draw (continuous) is 15 AMPS
and Amp Draw Maximum is 31 Amps

So give or take a couple of AMPS the Palomar should be right around that.

Sorry, could not find the exact for the Palomar 400.

AMP POWER WIRING SIZES:

020 ~ 100 watts use> #14awg wire
100 ~ 250 watts use >#12 awg wire
250 ~ 350 watts use >#10 awg wire
400 ~ 500 watts use >#8 awg wire
500 ~ 650 watts use >#6 awg wire
