I need somebody to look at this FT101E for me. It's aligned, it just doesn't have the ears when my power is tuned. I lose one (ears) or the other (power) on this thing! My nerves are losing it period and I am ready to chuck it in the dumpster. I had a pretty reputable tech tell me that the voltage in the voice clarifier circuit was bad... How the heck do I fix this beast????? Please... somebody help this poor soul. Thanks! XLAXX Please see "Yaesu with an earache" post for previous history. |

If anybody else has any recommendations, leads, where I can get parts, etc... please feel free to respond. I'm game for anything at this point. I know there's some Yaesu hounds out there... Don't be shy now. Thanks XLAXX |

Hmm, posted to the 'earache' thread below, can't add much but WHOEVER SAID IT IS 'ALIGNED' didn't check it first. Seriously. The "either-or" transmit/receive peak is a symptom that the radio is NOT properly aligned. Period. 73 |
