I'm not interested in a radio unless it has sideband and a frequency counter.Once you get above or below the regular 40 most guys go sideband so why have a radio that wont be able to hear what they are saying? |

I can understand that but also i hear ALOT of people under Channel 1 on AM. Its been a sort of gentlemans agreement i guess SSB above 40 and AM below 1. I like SSB myself and have never used this radio but for the AM users Galaxy makes a LOUD AM ,,,in my opinion

What about the DX 93T? USB, all the DX 99 channels and also the built-in 2 pill linear. |

True ,,,I was more curious about how the AM/FM radio was for the AM croud
I do like the blue display thats kewl,,isnt that how you choose a radio? LOOKS?

I've heard the first 48 in my area...saw the insides... for whatever reason it wasn't quite as "punchy" as the 3600 board Galaxies on AM. I can't explain it but the 33, 44, and 55 seem to be louder than the rest... maybe it's just me ;) |
