Anyone have a good enclosure or a broken TRC-459? eBayer 'porky4u' sent a beat up dog that looks like it was dragged down a road (ad stated 'minor wear'- right).

My experience with the '459 is that the case is probably worth more than the stuff inside. Too much computer, not enough radio for my taste.

I agree Mr. 2600. I bought it for the Scanning feature, I think SBE also made a 'Scanning' type radio. If I can find out which model, I'll pursue that model.
