The Tompkins County Amateur Radio Club is holding it's annual hamfest Saturday August 3 from 7 AM til 2 PM at the airport off route 13 just north of Ithaca NY.This is a great hamfest with a few major vendors and a good size flea market. http://www2.compcenter.com/~tcarc/

Ken I haven't tried them yet but will let you know.I think the 3 people with nothing but 11 meter gear on thier table was good for a fest of this size. There were only 3 or 4 people catering to CB'ers at Rochester and that fest is 10 times bigger. I've often tossed around the idea of organizing a swapmeet aimed at 11 meter operators but wasn't sure if enough sellers (and buyers) would be interested to make it worth the time and effort. What do you think? Carmen (Mr. Brownstone) |

I was thinking the same thing over the weekend . We should put that on the forum as a question. We could call it a Freebander Fest |
