I bought a dead 29 off of ebay and the problem is as follows. The meter lights up but nothing else does. It will not TX or RX. TR23 gets extremely hot when the radio is turned on. The radio is like new and has never had the covers off. Any suggestions? Thanks...Eddie

Yeah I know he is a wiz. I just wanted to see if I could fix it myself. I bought this thing for a parts radio but I think it is in too good of shape to just disassemble.If all else fails, I guess I will have to take it to the ol' 109 truck stop.
