I was just on ebay and I found a 2950 that is described as "having cb channels". It says, the radio alone cost over $300.00 and it cost another $150.00 to have the CB channels put in. Ha Ha! If he really did pay that much, then he was severly ripped off. |

I am surprised it is still listed. Usually items like that are taken down in a day or so. Steve Tech181 Tech181@copperelectronics.com |

Whomever that individual is that posted the TRC-47 is an idiot. He probably can't even spell CB!! The only thing that radio could pick up out of band is Klingons talking on Uranus! HE should pay for someone to take that radio from him. DAN laughing out loud!! |

He has 2 auctions for the same model radio. Same description, Just 1 has a few more extras. just check his other auctions and you will see it. should have listed them both together so the winner could have somebody else to talk to on those private channels. LMAO seriously though, I had 1 of those radios back in the early 80's. Did ok for a radio with no features other than SSB. Mine blew an audio output and took the audio transformer with it |

Reference eBay ad above: Lets see, 250 watts deadkey: 40% efficiency at final amp. That is about 650 watts input before the claimed swing to 600 watts or one kilowatt input peak- hell of a radio- Yep! |

This is probably a good deal for someone. I have never seen anything like this before. I think it should be called a "2970 conversion kit" http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1367947764
