I have an old hand mic made by Shure. It was taken out of an old fire alarm voice evacuation system for a high rise building. My guess is that it was made in the 70s. Anyway it has a green plastic case with a large element about the size of a D104. I used it on my 148GTL for years and people said it sounded great. It was dropped one too many times and is now retired... |

jyd, It depends on the model. Some mics are made more for LMR communications, and some may not even work at all with CB radios. Overall Shure is famous for making high quality items and the model 55 (musical performance) is a very sought after piece. Steve Tech181 Tech181@copperelectronics.com |
