This is total off the wall but does anyone have the electrical wireing diagram for a 79 caddy ??? Air conitioner ???? its hot ther in tampa and mine an't working ! |

OK im loseing power from the fuse block to the blower moter switch and this thing looks like the shuttle under the dash .... man what do the NEW ones look like? thanks bruce |

I bought the book no where do they cover electrial you can rebuild the whole motor but its not in there i tried that i wrote caddy that got no where so like old radios someone out there might have what i need no harm is asking is there ? |

Bruce, The only thing that I can think of is a relay. I am not sure if it would be between the fusebox and the switch or between the switch and the air conditioning pump, but they have a tendency to go bad. In your haines book that you just bought will have a section in there telling you how to diagnose a relay with an ohm meter. But seriously, if all else fails, if you have an open wire TO the switch, just bypass the bad wire with a new one. It would probably be a heck of alot easier than troubleshooting the spaceshuttle...Eddie |
